Oracle Corporation

Oracle Corporation is pleased to announce that we have acquired 360Commerce, a privately held provider of open store and multi-channel solutions software. We want to share this exciting news with you, and let you know how we anticipate this transaction will benefit you as a valued Oracle partner and your customers.

With this acquisition, Oracle plans to deliver on our vision of customer-centric retailing. Oracle and 360Commerce have complementary products with a common focus on supporting our respective customers, which includes many of the most successful retailers in the world. The combination of Oracle and 360Commerce will bring together store solutions, merchandising, supply chain, and optimization solutions from the enterprise to the store. The combination with Oracle's leading database infrastructure and ERP applications is expected to provide a highly integrated solution for the customer insight-driven retail enterprise.

We anticipate that our combination will provide many key benefits to our retail customers:

A Superior Customer Shopping Experience
Oracle will bring together merchandising, supply chain, store solutions, and optimization technology under one vendor, allowing service, product and the workforce to all come together in the store. As a result, retailers can focus on what matters most - the customer.

Best Practices Functionality
With over 14 years of development in the store solutions arena, the acquisition of 360Commerce is expected to incrementally add to Oracle's understanding of the needs of the retail industry. 360Commerce has one of the most proven and widely deployed open store solutions in the world.

Increased Speed-to-Value
The combination is expected to significantly reduce the total cost of ownership while maintaining the flexibility that Java-based store solutions have been proven to deliver. The combination of Oracle and 360Commerce is expected to enable retailers to enhance customer intimacy, improve employee efficiency, and increase product availability to deliver a superior shopping experience at a lower cost of service.

For partners, you may anticipate expanded market opportunities through Oracle's extensive product portfolio, enabling movement beyond store applications into merchandising and price optimization and other enterprise applications. 360Commerce partners will also gain access to a much larger customer set through Oracle's global marketing and delivery teams and established relationships with hundreds of retail enterprises.

We are excited about the acquisition and how it will accelerate customer-centric retailing. We will be holding a Town Hall meeting in the near future to further outline our post-transaction plans for the combined offering, update the Oracle Retail applications footprint, and address any questions you may have. We will provide details on the Town Hall meeting in a separate communication. If you have any questions or would like to speak with us, please send an email to contact.oracle@oracle.com.

We appreciate your continued support.

Sincerely,

Duncan Angove
