Oracle Policy Automation Runtime

OVERVIEW

Oracle Policy Automation Runtime allows organizations to deliver consistent, transparent and accurate decision-making for benefit entitlements, border control, tax filings, insurance claims, and similar legislation or policy-based applications. It helps organizations to respond quickly to legislative or business changes that require eligibility rules to be frequently updated.

Oracle Policy Automation Runtime provides four styles of integration of business rules into a customer's enterprise architecture:

  • Interactive interviews, for Internet and intranet deployment of self-service or call center automation solutions. This component is called Oracle Web Determinations.
  • A coarse-grained web service API for integrating policy-based determinations with an enterprise service bus, with native ERP or CRM, or with other application middleware. This component is called Oracle Determinations Server.
  • A low-level API, for direct integration of modeled policies into Java and .NET applications. This component is called Oracle Determinations Engine.
  • A tool for enriching .CSV files with policy-based determinations. This component is called the Oracle Determinations Engine Data Source Connector.
