Call for Nominations: 'Empower the Green Enterprise' Awards

Is your company using any of Oracle's products to help protect the environment? If so, consider nominating yourself for an 'Empower the Green Enterprise' award. These awards will be presented to selected customers and their partners (system integrators, consultants, ISVs, etc.) who are using any of Oracle's products to not only take an environmental lead, but also to reduce their costs and improve their business efficiencies by utilizing more green business practices.

• Protect the environment—anywhere from the inception of a product in its design, to the sourcing and make-up of its components, to its transportation, to the management of the end of its life with Oracle's supply chain management applications.
• Provide sustainability reporting, planning and management that is critical to sound environmental management with Oracle's enterprise performance management (EPM) and business intelligence applications.
• Reduce disk space and power with Oracle Advanced Data Compression.
• Manage your rapidly growing and complex environmental regulations with Oracle's governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) applications.
• Move to paperless invoicing with Oracle Self-Service E-Billing.

• 15 winners will be selected from the customer and/or partner nominations.
• There is a nomination form below for you to discuss your use of Oracle products and how they have helped your efforts to protect the environment.
• The winners will be selected based on the extent of the environmental impact they have had as well as the business efficiencies they have achieved through their combined use of Oracle products.
• Senior Oracle executives will present the awards at a ceremony during Oracle OpenWorld 2008 (September 21-25) in San Francisco.

• Your company uses at least one component of Oracle products, whether it's database, applications, or Fusion Middleware.
• This solution should be in production or in active development.
• Either a customer or their partner can submit the below nomination form.

• Deadline for the nomination is Friday August 22nd, 2008.
• Winning organizations will be notified by early September 2008.
