The enhancements delivered in JD Edwards World Release A9.2 focus on "pay when paid" processes that help project-based industries be more profitable. However (as is usually the case with JD Edwards World) these enhancements—along with many others included in this new release—will benefit customers in many different industries. They include: pay-when-paid processing to maximize contract cash flow, Contract Billing enhancements to improve contract usability and accuracy, and Labor Reclass to streamline the labor reclassification process.

A new financial application, Purchase Card Management, enables you to reduce the cost of processing small invoices by as much as 70 percent. With Purchase Card Management, instead of writing checks or using petty cash, employees use a card for purchases. Managers can put restrictions on card usage, track all transactions, and store transaction details in Accounts Payable or General Ledger.
