PeopleTools and Enterprise Portal have supported Web 2.0 for some time. Enterprise Portal has been a leader in Web 2.0 capabilities, introducing features supporting collaboration, communities, and context-rich composite user interfaces. We delivered collaboration functionality such as Discussion Forums and Online Document Management in 2003 when the term 'Web 2.0' had not yet been coined. Enterprise Portal has continued to extend collaborative functionality by delivering workspaces and community calendars among other features. The coming release will include several additional important Web 2.0 features.
