As part of Oracle Global Volunteer Days (GVD) 2007 in Hong Kong, Oracle employees teamed with Po Leung Kuk Group for Residential Care for Children Services on September 22 to provide around 32 children from 3-6 years old with a day full of joy and education at the Po Leung Kuk Headquarters.
Oracle GVD was created to promote volunteerism among Oracle employees, make a lasting impact on our communities, and celebrate year-round service to organizations throughout the world. Oracle GVD is an excellent example of our mission at work. The 2007 event included more than 4,400 volunteers from 37 countries, supporting more than 158 projects.
