The Oracle Academy and Oracle Vietnam kicked off the first Oracle Academy Conference in Vietnam as part of the company’s ongoing commitment to education across the country.
Nearly 70 leading Vietnamese universities and technical colleges across the country attended the event in Hanoi to learn how the Oracle Academy program can help students develop vital business and technology skills needed for success in a global economy. Oracle customers and analysts were also on hand to highlight how the skills acquired through the Oracle Academy are in high-demand by today’s employers.
“The Oracle Academy offers students hands-on experience with Oracle's state-of-the-art technology and provides a comprehensive training program that gives students a head-start in their future career and academic opportunities. By leveraging the many benefits of the Oracle Academy, our students will gain a competitive advantage as they prepare to enter the workforce,” said Ho Thanh Tung, General Director, Oracle Vietnam.
By partnering with the Oracle Academy, these and other Vietnamese colleges and universities can help students develop the skills that are critical for students as they pursue technology and business careers. During the conference, the University of Commerce and Hanoi University both signed agreements to integrate the Oracle Academy into their schools.
The Oracle Academy supports more than 397,000 students in 83 countries. By partnering with schools, districts, and ministries that believe in early career preparation, the Oracle Academy helps students develop the technology and business skills required for 21st century careers. Participating institutions can integrate Oracle's cutting-edge software and curriculum into their courses and avail their faculty to first-class professional development opportunities.
