In 2002, Oracle enjoyed strong momentum in Asia Pacific doubling its Oracle9i Application Server customer base during the past 12 months. According to industry analysts, Asia Pacific's application server market saw extremely strong growth in the last year, reflecting the increased demand for middleware software.
