Oracle Corp. (NASDAQ: ORCL), the world's largest provider of enterprise software, today announced that it has been awarded the 2003 CRM Excellence award by Customer Inter@ction Solutions magazine. The publication chose Oracle for demonstrating how its customer relationship management (CRM) applications helped United Asset Coverage, Inc. (UAC), a leading provider of integrated telecommunications and data networking maintenance services, transform its customer service and billing operations.
UAC is using Oracle CRM to manage its customers and network of more than 33,000 vendors by providing a single, integrated view of all client information to users, including those in sales, the call center and financial operations. Using Oracle, UAC has eliminated manual entry of invoices. Previously, 40 percent of invoices required manual entry.

UAC combines maintenance contracts across all manufacturers and models of telecommunications and data networking equipment into one simple, fixed-price agreement with one quarterly invoice, enabling its clients to save 15 percent on maintenance costs.
