Oracle Receives a Positive Rating for E-Service Market from Leading Analyst Firm
REDWOOD SHORES, Calif.   15-FEB-2005 05:00 AM    Oracle (Nasdaq: ORCL - News) today announced that Oracle( Service, part of Oracle Customer Relationship Management (CRM) suite of applications, received a "Positive" rating in Gartner's "MarketScope 2H04 Update: The E-Service Market Shows Promise."1

Gartner considers companies receiving a "Positive" rating to "demonstrate strength in specific areas, but are largely opportunistic" and recommends that existing customers "continue incremental investments" while potential customers "put this vendor on a shortlist of tactical alternatives."

"Increasingly organizations are looking to drive customers to lower cost service delivery channels such as the Web. We believe Gartner's rating recognizes Oracle's position in the E-Service market," said Matthew Self, Oracle vice president of service applications development.
