Oracle today announced that it will be holding a partner summit specifically to address its loyal JD Edwards partner base. The event will be held at the Oracle Conference Center, located at the company headquarters in Redwood Shores, Calif., on Thursday, July 7th from 8:00am to 6:00pm.
Demand for Oracle's JD Edwards products and services remains extremely strong, and as such, Oracle is launching marketing campaigns and putting distributor agreements in place to support JD Edwards partner efforts in the mid-market. The summit will include updates from executive management and product development leads, as well as overviews addressing marketing and partner programs. Those participating will also be able to attend an ISV or VAR track with workshops on channel business practices and campaign planning.
"The Oracle JD Edwards products are excellent solutions for mid-markect customers, divisions of large companies, and companies in selected industries with complex processes," said Charles Phillips, president and member of the board at Oracle Corporation. "Having taken JD Edwards public many years ago, I recognized the value of the product line and loyal customer base. We are deeply committed to building on that rich heritage for the future of JD Edwards Enterprise One and World products, and we can only do that if our partners are successful and help us make customers successful with these products. At this summit, we will share our product and support plans as well as discuss expanded opportunities for partners, and unveil OPN go-to-market initiatives to help them in this increasingly competitive market."
