In the Web Access Management Magic Quadrant report, Gartner states that Web Access Management (WAM) market growth was robust in 2005 with the marketplace recently exhibiting better-than-expected growth - near 10 percent. According to Gartner, "WAM applies to access control engines that are designed to provide centralized authentication and authorization capabilities for Web-delivered applications."

Oracle Access Manager is a component of Oracle Fusion Middleware, Oracle's comprehensive, standards-based family of middleware products that enables customers to adopt, secure and manage service-oriented architectures in heterogeneous computing environments.
