InfoWorld Touts Oracle on Linux As "Ideal E-Business Investment"

In a recent set of product reviews, InfoWorld, a major technology trade publication, hails Oracle's Linux software lead in the marketplace by awarding Oracle8i Release 2 on Linux the highest overall Test Center rating of "excellent." According to InfoWorld, Oracle Portal services, a feature of Oracle(r) Internet Application Server (iAS) for developing and deploying enterprise portals, "comes to the rescue" of today’s web site managers "grappling with information overload. InfoWorld also advises that Linux developers should take Oracle Business Components for Java "out for a test drive," also giving the software rating of "excellent."
