Vice President and General Manager
PeopleSoft Enterprise
Doris Wong is Vice President and General Manager of the PeopleSoft Enterprise division within Oracle's product development organization. She is responsible for the strategic direction and product development of current and future PeopleSoft Enterprise solutions. The general manager model was conceived to benefit customers by centralizing leadership, development and delivery efforts around each of Oracle's product lines. She was appointed to this position in June 2006.
Doris Wong has 23 years of experience developing enterprise applications, including the past 12 years at PeopleSoft/Oracle. She has experience in all phases of software development including requirements and planning, design, development and support of customers using enterprise business applications. Doris joined Oracle from PeopleSoft in 2005 where she served as Vice President of Product Development for the Supply Chain Management applications. She joined PeopleSoft in 1995 where she began the development of the Manufacturing applications. She later took on additional product development responsibilities for the Advanced Planning, Supplier Relationship Management, and Customer Fulfillment Management applications.
Prior to joining PeopleSoft, Doris was with ASK Computer Systems for 11 years, where she had product development management responsibilities in each of their MANMAN product lines, as well as in most of their business applications, including Financials, Human Resources, Payroll, and Supply Chain Management applications.
Doris holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in business information systems from San Francisco State University.
