Accenture opened its Innovation Center for Oracle at the Oracle headquarters in Redwood Shores in August 2006. The Accenture Innovation Center for Oracle is dedicated to the development of new ideas and innovative solutions based on Oracle's Server Technologies infrastructure and Oracle Applications software. The center will initially focus on the development of leading-edge service-oriented reference architectures and reference applications based on Oracle Fusion Middleware.

The Accenture Innovation Centre for Oracle will be a European hub for joint business development, producing and developing Oracle applications and technology initiatives and offerings to help creatively solve business issues facing joint customers. Accenture is the first systems integration and technology consulting company to open this type of facility on an Oracle campus in Europe. At the Centre, Oracle-based applications will be demonstrated to clients to show what the technology is capable of delivering.
