Steven Davelaar, member of the Oracle Ace program, is a technical architect within Oracle Consulting. Steven has 16 years experience with custom development in an Oracle environment. For the first 10 years, he specialized on Oracle 4GL tools Oracle Designer, Forms & PL/SQL. Steven co-authored the Oracle CDM standards & guidelines for building multi-tier internet applications. He also initiated the Headstart for Designer program.

For the last 6 years, Steven has focussed on J2EE Application development. He is involved with large J2EE projects. He is the main architect of Oracle JHeadstart, a J2EE development toolkit that works on top of Oracle ADF, providing a user
experience and productivity similar to 4GL-tools like Oracle Forms and Oracle Designer.
Steven is a frequent and award-winning speaker on international conferences, and is well known for his energetic way of presenting.
