Mark Hurd is president of Oracle Corporation and a member of the company's Board of Directors. He joined Oracle in 2010, bringing more than 30 years of technology industry leadership, computer hardware expertise, and executive management experience to his role with the company. As president, Hurd oversees the corporate direction and strategy for Oracle's global field operations, including marketing, sales, consulting, alliances and channels, and support. He focuses on strategy, leadership, innovation, and customers. Hurd's leadership in managing past acquisition integrations has enabled him to take a significant role in Oracle's acquisition strategy. He is also responsible for Oracle's global business units for industries, which build products for specific industries such as telecommunications, financial services, health sciences, retail, utilities, and public sector.

Before joining Oracle, Hurd served as chairman of the board, chief executive officer, and president of HP, where his focus on customers, innovation, improved operational efficiency, and execution led to significant company growth. Prior to that, he spent 25 years at NCR Corporation, where he held a variety of management, operations, sales, and marketing roles, ultimately serving as the company's chief executive officer and president and leading a successful effort to improve operational efficiency, strengthen the product line, and drive growth.

Hurd earned a bachelor's degree in business administration in 1979 from Baylor University, in Waco, Texas.

John Fowler

John Fowler is executive vice president of Systems at Oracle. Fowler has extensive experience in corporate strategy as well as systems and software development. Before coming to Oracle in 2010, when the company acquired Sun, he worked at Sun for more than 14 years, where he served in several influential roles, including executive vice president of Sun's systems group; chief technology officer for Sun's software organization; and executive vice president of Sun's x64 systems group, focused on delivering industry-standard network computing systems for Solaris, Linux, and Windows. At Oracle, Fowler continues to be responsible for the delivery of all Sun systems products, including SPARC and x64-based servers, as well as networking and disk and tape storage products. Additionally, he is responsible for systems software, including Oracle Solaris.

Greene leads a worldwide organization responsible for a broad range of development, enabling, architecture analysis and optimization efforts including pre-boot firmware, virtual platforms, software stack optimizations for a “Best in Class” user experience and client/server roadmap analysis and projections. Greene joined Intel in 1990, after graduating from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and has managed several new product developments, research efforts, and engineering groups. He has served as Intel’s initiative owner for power efficiency, pre silicon software development, and has driven new technology benchmarking throughout his career.

Andrew Mendelsohn is senior vice president for Database Server Technologies at Oracle. He is responsible for the development and product management of Oracle's family of database products, including software products such as Oracle Database, Oracle TimesTen In-Memory Database, Oracle Berkeley DB, and Oracle NoSQL Database and engineered systems such as Oracle Exadata Database Machine, Oracle Database Appliance, and Oracle Big Data Appliance.

Mendelsohn has been at Oracle since May 1984. He began his career at Oracle as a developer on Release 5.1 of Oracle Database. Prior to joining Oracle, he worked at HP and ESVEL.

Mendelsohn holds a BSE in electrical engineering and computer science from Princeton University and performed graduate work in computer science at M.I.T.

At same time, Dr. Liu is also member of the Global Growth Companies Advisory Committee and the Agenda Council for Emerging Multinationals of the World Economic Forum. And he once served several posts such as member of the APEC Business Advisory Council.

Dr. Jiren Liu founded Neusoft on the campus of Northeastern University, China in 1991. Today, Neusoft Group has become the largest IT solutions and services provider in China. Neusoft mainly provides Industry Solutions, Product Engineering Solutions and related Products and Services. Currently, Neusoft employs a total of more than 23,000 employees. Neusoft has set up 6 software bases, 8 regional headquarters and a comprehensive marketing & service network in over 40 cities across China; it has subsidiaries in America, Japan, Europe and Middle East.

Dr. Jiren Liu successively won the honors of “National Outstanding Scientific and Technological Worker”, “China Business Leaders Awards”, “Asia Business Leaders Awards •Innovator Award” and “Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the year 2010 China Award”. He was inducted into IAOP Outsourcing Hall of Fame and elected "CCTV Economic Person of the Year".

Dr. Liu was born in 1955 in Dandong, Liaoning. He graduated from the Computer Software Specialty in the Electronics Department of Northeastern University in 1982, obtained a master's degree in 1987 and Ph.D. in Computer Applications in 1987 and became a professor of Northeastern University in 1988.
