Liu is a principal technical instructor at Oracle University. Liu has more than 15 years of experience in information technology, with 10 years working with Oracle Database. In his current position, he works with and trains customers in all phases of database administration and in the use of Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control. Prior to joining Oracle University, Liu was employed as an Oracle database administrator and Oracle program developer.

Course Description:
This is a foundation course for Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control 12c in which participants learn to use the core functionality of the product. After a brief review of the underlying architecture, you will see how to use Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control to manage an enterprise computing environment. This includes tasks such as managing and monitoring Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control components, managing hosts and groups, monitoring targets through the use of metrics, policies, and templates. You will also learn how to use the Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control job system and Oracle Enterprise Manager reporting tools. In addition, you will learn how to view, save, and compare configurations of various targets and how to manage target compliancy to a set of standards and rules.
