Oracle to address business intelligence skills shortage in Morocco
CASABLANCA, Morocco, 01 December 2005 -- The lack of technical skills is limiting the effective use of business intelligence systems, despite the availability of powerful software that can help transform business decision-making, according to a leading research firm.
The international research organisation Gartner, which surveyed 917 companies globally, also said that 73% of businesses planned to increase or maintain their current levels of spending on business intelligence software.

Ghana NEPAD e-Schools switch on to information technology
Accra, Ghana, 25 July 2005 - Just eight weeks after announcing its intention to roll out the NEPAD e-Schools Demonstration Project in seven African countries, the Oracle Consortium's first computer installation in Africa was switched on in Ghana this morning. H. E. President John Agyekum Kufuor launched the first NEPAD e-School in a ceremony at OLA Girls Secondary School in the town of HO in the Volta region of Ghana.

Oracle Europe, Middle East & Africa Exceeds USD 4 Billion in Revenues for the Fiscal Year 2005
GENEVA, SWITZERLAND, July 1, 2005: Oracle Corporation (NASDAQ: ORCL) today reported revenues of $4,288 million in US GAAP basis for the fiscal year 2005 (ended 31 May 2005) for the Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) region, a 17% growth compared to fiscal year 2004. Operations in the region accounted for 36% of worldwide FY05 revenues, and new licence revenues grew 10% compared with the previous year.
