Oracle E-Business Suite – EBS
The original line of Oracle’s ERP applications has significantly evolved in the last years, due both to the dedication of our developers and the M&A (mergers and acquisitions) with other state-of-the-art technologies. Therefore, companies of different sizes have implemented Oracle solutions in order to achieve integration, flexibility, lower costs and ease of use. You will learn about the strategy and next steps for Oracle application suite, the advantages of upgrading to the latest releases, the new features of Oracle Financials 12, purchases with iProcurement and other tools, rapid implementation solutions via Oracle Business Accelerators and much more. You should also see the several cases of success, where users will show how their business benefited from Oracle E-Business Suite. PeopleSoft
Differently from other companies that acquire its competitors to eliminate them from the market, Oracle absorbs the best technologies but continues to develop the product lines to guarantee the investment already made by its customers. That is why companies of several segments, including new users, continue to use PeopleSoft solutions in a more integrated way with other Oracle applications. In addition, Oracle customers can also significantly benefit from the excellent features of PeopleSoft, such as applications for talent and human capital management, payroll solutions (in Brazil and overseas), and financial management - four of the main topics that will be presented at Oracle OpenWorld. JD Edwards
Oracle has been working with PeopleSoft product lines and investing in JD Edwards, as well as giving support to JD Edwards applications users. At Oracle OpenWorld, customers that use this platform will be able to see in details the investment strategy and road map for the future of JD Edwards World and mainly for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne suite in its next release, 9.0, presented by Lyle Ekdahl, vice president of product strategy for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne. Integration policies for these solutions with other Oracle and third party products will also be discussed.
Siebel
Siebel’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solutions are undoubtedly the best and most comprehensive solutions in the market. With the company’s acquisition and with an integration strategy for these applications with Oracle universe, users have experimented improvements in products, gathering front office and back office information and maintaining customers as the focus of corporate actions. At Oracle OpenWorld, some CRM sessions are divided into segments, such as the use in financial organizations or communications. Others will focus on specific applications such as Siebel Self-Service 8.1 and Siebel Loyalty. A special session will focus on the explanation of the new concept of Social CRM, and another one on showing the advantages of using Siebel applications through Oracle On Demand.
Enterprise Performance Management - EPM
With Hyperion’s acquisition, a complete new EPM product line was integrated to Oracle’s BI systems. The event has several sessions and demos targeted at this new and important segment. Topics range from the integration of business plan up to financial consolidation, covering some cases of success using these solutions in Brazil and Latin America. Oracle will also present its current strategy and future steps towards the development of Hyperion’s EPM original technology and will show how the products can help general business management, specially cost control and profitability.
Hyperion and Agile
As already mentioned in the track for EPM, Hyperion’s acquisition added an excellent series of applications for business performance and financial management to Oracle universe. After all, Hyperion is the leading provider in financial consolidation segment. In the sessions about this product line, we will have some interesting cases of success, such as the use of the platform by TAM Linhas Aéreas, and also an introduction to Oracle Hyperion Profitability and Cost Management and tips on how to use the products to link financial business planning to operational planning. Oracle has acquired another important line of applications for product lifecycle management developed by Agile. The session is highly recommended to global business executives whose supply chains need to cross the borders, such as automotive, electronic and high-technology industries.
