Oracle Recognizes Partner Innovation at Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN) Day in Antalya
At its recent Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN) Day in Antalya, Turkey, Oracle honored its most innovative partners with the presentation of the 8th Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) OPN Innovation Awards. The awards encourage and reward innovation by OPN members who use Oracle's products and technology to create value for their customers and generate new business potential.

 Confor Srl claimed first place for its Oracle Application Server 10

and Oracle Database 10
g -based
Televet solution, a groundbreaking telecontrol system used to monitor the wellbeing of poultry and livestock to ensure compliance with European Union regulations. The system enables remote monitoring of farm warehouses and provides actionable intelligence on optimal conditions for raising livestock, thus increasing animal wellbeing.

3i Infotech for the creation of an Insurance Centre of Excellence in conjunction with a UK insurance industry customer. Based on Oracle Database 10
g and Oracle SOA Suite, the
Insurance Centre of Excellence Platform integrates a number of 3i Infotech and Oracle components to give insurance providers deeper insight into their businesses and their customers.

 Italian partner
Sait achieved third place for its
Anti-Counterfeiting and Traceability solution, which enables the traceability of food products through warehouse monitoring, improved logistics efficiency, integration with accounting systems and anti-counterfeiting capabilities. The solution uses Oracle Database 10
g
and Oracle Application Server 10g.
