Oracle Hong Kong Names Jardine OneSolution Top Applications Partner for 2006
Award reflects outstanding performance with Oracle E-Business Suite, JD Edwards EnterpriseOne and JD Edwards World Hong Kong, March 30, 2007 - Jardine OneSolution (JOS) has received an Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN) Applications Outstanding Performance Award for its success in sales and support of the Oracle Applications product families in Hong Kong last year. It was selected from all Hong Kong certified application partners for the award which was presented at the Oracle's first Greater China Application Partner Forum which was recently held in Chengdu.
JOS is one of Asia's leading provider of integrated information technology solutions and services and, in Hong Kong and China, has around 50 pre-sales and support engineers engaged in delivering tailored application software solutions based around Oracle application software including JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, JD Edwards World and Oracle E-Business Suite. During 2006 it was particularly successful with the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne application software solutions, achieving strong sales of licenses to new customers together with significant revenue from existing customers acquiring new products and upgrades.

Over the years JOS has developed a significant JD Edwards EnterpriseOne customer base among companies in the Consumer Packaged Goods, Pharmaceutical, Watches, Toys, Industrial Equipment Manufacturing, Real Estate Management and Construction industries. With the expansion of the Oracle Applications footprint, JOS will have an even broader set industry segments to target. Recent JOS customer wins with Oracle Applications in the retail sector include global beauty products company Elizabeth Arden, premier garment hanger company Mainetti and Hakuto Enterprises, a distributor of equipment and components for the semiconductor and electronics industries.

The latest versions of Oracle Applications, unveiled at the end of January as part of the Applications Unlimited announcement, are built on open standards geared to help organizations lower the total cost of ownership by simplifying deployment and management activities. The Oracle Applications portfolio, including Oracle E-Business Suite and Oracle's JD Edwards, PeopleSoft and Siebel products, are also certified on Oracle Middleware. This enables customers to use products such as Oracle Containers for J2EE, Oracle BPEL Process Manager, Oracle Identity Management and Oracle Portal, to support their entire enterprise including business applications, custom applications and standards-based enterprise services.
