Oracle Middle East announced today that it is launching its Oracle
JobTrack initiative in Qatar as part of an initiative by the country's
Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Agriculture (MMAA) to increase IT
skills among young Qatari nationals. The twelve-week programme, created
under the patronage of His Excellency Eng. Ali Ben Mohammed Al-Khater,
the Minister of the MMAA, is aimed at transferring software development
skills to new university graduates to prepare them to join the IT
Department of the MMAA or other major IT initiatives in Qatar.
