Oman's Nawras Telecommunications Adopts Oracle E-Business Suite

MUSCAT, Oman, December 18, 2005 - Nawras, Oman's second mobile operator has automated its financial and procurement functions using Oracle E-Business Suite in order to improve operational efficiency, reduce operating costs, and streamline business processes.
As a relative newcomer in the Omani mobile market, Nawras has deployed Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software to streamline key internal functions, including accounting, inventory management, and purchasing. The implementation of Oracle E-Business Suite gives Nawras an up-to-the-minute view of its back office business, allowing the organization to make informed decisions during this period of critical development and investment – a crucial business advantage for a new player in a highly competitive market.
