Egypt's Pachin Chooses Oracle E-Business Suite to Power Comprehensive Business Automation Strategy, Improve Operational Efficiency

Paint Company opts for Oracle E-Business Suite to streamline supply chain management and consolidate financial processes

CAIRO, Egypt, May 2, 2005 - Egypt's largest paint company is deploying Oracle E-Business Suite to automate a number of key business processes, including financial processes, purchasing, asset management, and inventory. Faced by rising demand from Egypt and the rest of the Middle East, Pachin sought a solution that would enable the organization to streamline core business units, maximize its human assets and enable the company to implement a just in time (JIT) delivery service for its customers nationwide.

After evaluating its primary requirements and assessing all possible enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions available, Pachin determined that its requirements would be best served by the scalability and functionality offered by Oracle E-Business Suite. To be deployed over four stages, the implementation covers twelve modules, including general ledger, account payables, inventory, production management, cost management, order management, account receivables, purchasing, fixed assets and cash management.
