60 Cannon Street, London, EC4N 5BN

Calling all Test Managers, MiFID Programme Managers and IT Managers. Come and hear how your firm can test its MiFID-readiness more effectively and with less risk between now and November.

Register now at http://www.jwg-it.eu/fstg for your complimentary place and benefit from the collective insight of industry experts from Intel, Oracle, JWG-IT & The Financial Services Testing Group, as well as the opportunity to network and discuss these issues with other testing professionals during refreshments after the seminar.

About the Event

Learn how companies such as Intel and Oracle are embracing the challenge of MiFID. Hear industry experts discuss the complexities involved with this directive from the business and testing viewpoint.

Now is the time to take MiFID testing seriously. The EU’s Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID) becomes law on November 1st, 2007. This seminar will provide Test Managers, MiFID Programme Managers and IT professionals with vital information to ensure their firms’ IT infrastructures are ready and fully-tested to meet MiFID specific best execution obligations.

MiFID is more than just a compliance issue. Speed and low latency are critical. You’ll need to test for MiFID requirements such as ‘likelihood’ or how likely trades are to be fulfilled. Best Execution won’t be optional, so you need to prepare your systems to deliver provable Best Execution performance.

At this seminar you will learn about:

  • The implications of the EU’s MiFID legislation and its impact on IT infrastructures
  • How technology leaders such as Intel and Oracle are contributing to the development of IT Reference Architectures to support the implementation of MiFID
  • How Financial Services Testing Group Member organisations are now delivering the testing solutions needed to validate these IT Reference Architectures for live MiFID environments

Who should attend?

This seminar is suitable for Test Managers, MiFID Programme Managers and IT Managers working in the City for firms looking to take advantage of MiFID.
