MiFID Solution Overview
Facilita offers a portfolio of specialist testing
services to help institutions deliver best execution
and verify their MiFID-readiness in the run-up
to the European Unions Markets in Financial Instruments
Directive when it becomes law on 1st November
2007. Facilita recognises that effective performance
engineering is never about optimising the performance
of single components, and its MiFID testing approach
focuses on testing and monitoring end-to-end solutions
to help organisations deliver the latency figures
needed to demonstrate best execution. To support
its MiFID capability, Facilita plays an active
role in the running of JWG-IT’s Financial
Services Testing Group which serves as a Special
Interest Group to promote the delivery of appropriate
tools and services needed to address complex testing
challenges such as MiFID and other regulatory
change in the banking and financial services sector.
