MiFID Solution Overview
Identity Management- specifically
the ability to rely upon the privacy, authentication,
and integrity of electronic interactions, with
the assurance of non-repudiation, is fast becoming
one of the major challenges of an interconnected
world. Quite apart from the business process benefits
of identity authentication, the need for Trust
is evidenced in the plethora of regulatory requirements
facing Corporations, one of the most significant
being MiFID.
Essentially if the data cannot
be trusted, the Regulator cannot regulate. IdenTrust

issue - focusing specifically on two core components
of MiFID - Client OnBoarding and Reference Data.
- Client Onboarding
(the process of opening a new customer account)

strong Know Your Customer (KYC) practices of

with a holder of a credential issued under the

- Reference Data (the

it cannot be repudiated- thus if there was a
problem, there is a clear dispute resolution

based credentials in the management of Reference
Data addresses this need comprehensively.
