ITRS
ITRS is a product company, specilising in the
real-time management and monitoring of trading
applications and infrastructure. Formed in 1996,

MiFID Solution Overview
ITRS product, called Geneos,
is an enterprise-wide system that provides real-time
management and monitoring of trading applications
and infrastructure. Geneos offers integrated global
view, enabling the 24x7 "follow-the-sun"
approach. Clients can demonstrate that they have
full "command and control" of their
systems and applications even where the running
of these systems is outsourced to a third party.
Monitored metrics, order flows
and events are logged to a historical database.
Comprehensive set of standard reports and a facilty
to create custom reports is provided to enable
historical verificaiton and capacity planning.
Management and reporting of the latency of trading
applications and networks ensures that the financial
institution keeps its competitve edge.
MiFID is very demanding and
with the complexity of modern trading and the
number, systems, networks and applications that
are involved it is becoming increasingly probale
that something can interrupt the effective operation
of the business from time to time. These "issues",
if not identified immediately can result in the
loss of tens of millions and more importantly
serious damage to an institutions reputation.
Geneos is able to manage this highly complex environment
in real time identifying these critical events
and setting in motion actions or events to minimise
or eliminate the negative impact it also provides
service level and event reports. Product can provide
information and metrics to demonstrate "best
execution", and identify issues that can
effect both trading position and compliance.
