Oracle Lead Scoring Guidelines

In order to determine the number of A, B, C & D leads you expect to gain as a result of the activity for which you are applying for funding, please refer to the Point Scoring guidelines below. The number of points will determine the lead type as follows:

A Lead = 12 points or more
B Lead = 8 – 11 points
C Lead = 5 – 7 points
D Lead = 4 points or less

Points can be generated based on the following scoring system:

Project Timescale:

5 points – Timeframe 0 – 6 months  
3 points – Timeframe 6 – 12 months
2 points – Timeframe 13 – 24 months 
1 point   – More than 24 months

     

Decision Maker

3 points will be awarded if the contact is a decision maker

Budget

4 points will be awarded if there is an approved budget, no points will be awarded if the budget has to be applied for.

Next Action

5 points if the prospect requests a meeting or telephone appointment with a consultant. Please note the timescale must be immediate i.e. within 2 weeks.
Or
2 points will be awarded if there is a defined next action to re-contact the decision-maker, however the timescale is greater than 2 weeks.
