Oracle PartnerNetwork Market Development Funds (MDF) are marketing monies allocated to fund Certified or Certified Advantage Partners’ marketing programmes. MDF is not intended to meet day-to-day operating expenses, or to support non-Oracle-related revenue streams. MDF is given on a co-funded basis and may be used toward the following types of activities:
- Advertising: Commercials, radio, banner, online and print
- Collateral: Both online and hardcopy
- Demand Generation: Both direct marketing and e-marketing including list acquisition
- Seminars, Events and Workshops: Both live and online including all reasonable logistical costs
- Telemarketing: Only as part of one of the above eligible activities
The following types of activities are not eligible for MDF or CSDF:
- Development or Migration Support and Services
- Education or Training "Lunch and Learn" events
- Market research
- Partners' global, national or local user group meetings including annual conferences
- Receptions, exhibit or sponsorship fees for any Oracle-produced activities including conferences, events, seminars, workshops and meetings
- Oracle-led or sponsored activities
- Sporting events, including golf
