Top Partners Applauded at 2006 Oracle Awards
14 UK Solutions Providers Recognised for Innovation and Commitment to Excellence
READING, 14 February 2007 - Oracle, the world’s largest enterprise software company, announced 14 category winners at its 2006 UK Partner Awards, held in London last week.
Oracle judges noted UK partners who had delivered innovative solutions, services or initiatives, using Oracle solutions, at the HP and IBM sponsored event last Wednesday (7 February 2007).
“Partnering excellence is extremely important to Oracle. The Oracle PartnerNetwork is globally recognised as one of the world’s leading partner programmes and Oracle is committed to helping partners achieve success and business improvement,” said Alan Hartwell, Vice President, Channels and Solutions, Oracle Corporation UK.
Special tribute was handed to partners displaying excellence in support for Oracle’s industry-leading enterprise applications portfolio, which includes Oracle E-Business Suite, JD Edwards EnterpriseOne and PeopleSoft Enterprise applications.
Paul Robinson, Enterprise Applications Leader at Consulting Partner of the Year Award winner Deloitte said: "We are delighted to receive the Oracle partner award for the second consecutive year. London start-up Trampoline Systems took away the prestigious Innovation Award for its work in developing social networking solutions and paid testament to the support it receives from Oracle.
