OCP Hands-On Course Requirement
Oracle University's rigorous certification training
and lab-based focus ensures that all Oracle Certified Professionals obtain
real hands-on experience in using the Oracle9i Database technology and
tools.
Candidates who wish to obtain the Oracle9i
DBA OCP credential must attend one instructor-led
inClass or instructor-led online
course from the certification/dba9i_ocpcoursereq_approvedlist.html" target="_top" class="bodylink">approved
list of Oracle University courses and submit the certification/handsoncourse_form.html" target="_top" class="bodylink">Oracle
OCP Hands-On Course Requirement Form.
Candidates must attend their approved course
through one of these providers:

the list of approved courses that will meet the hands-on requirement.
Exemptions
Candidates who have taken at least one exam in
an Oracle DBA track on or before September 1, 2002 are exempt
from the Hands-On Course Requirement, but they are still required to complete
the Hands-On Course Requirement Form before they can receive their certification.
NEW! Oracle OCP Hands-On Course Requirement
Form
The Hands-On Course Requirement Form is
required for all new OCP candidates.
If you have earned a previous DBA OCP credential, you are exempt from
this requirement. Candidates
will not receive their certification until they complete the exam requirements,
attend an approved hands-on course as required, and submit the certification/handsoncourse_form.html" target="_top" class="bodylink">OCP
Hands-On Course Form.
- Candidates who must meet the Hands-On Course
requirement should submit the form only AFTER they have attended their
course.
- Candidates who are exempt from the requirement
because they took their first exam on or before September 1, 2002 may
submit the form at any time.
