Transportation

CalTrain (Peninsula)
The CalTrain Terminal is located at Fourth and Townsend. The front entrance of the station is on Fourth St. (running one way south). Catch a connecting Muni Bus to Market via the Embarcadero or Third St. If taking a taxi, or walking from the train station, cross Fourth St. on Townsend to Third St., turn left on Third St. then right on Market St. (approximately 1 mile).

BART (South Bay, East Bay, San Francisco Districts)
Embarcadero or Montgomery stops, surface on Market St., walk to 1 Front Street.

BART now goes from both the Oakland Airport and the San Francisco Airport. BART is only about $5 each way.

Transbay Terminal (East Bay, Peninsula)
Walk north 1 block on First St. to Market Street.

Parking
Please note that downtown parking at most hotels and the 1 Front Street office building is expensive ($14.00 to 30.00 per day) and we would encourage local students where possible to make use of public transportation. If you park in the One Front Street building (note: the entrance to the parking garage is on Battery street), the customer is charged $23/day if they arrive before 9am (this is considered the Early Bird special) and $28/day if they arrive after 9am.

Hotel Rates
Oracle mandates that all Oracle employees book travel reservations including hotels through their self booking tool or Oracle Travel utilizing their Corporate American Express card for payment.
Only Oracle customers may call in directly to the hotels to make reservations.
