Support for Hyperion Products

Oracle Support gives customers access to the most advanced support organization in the world. The global support team drives better results for customers by helping deliver optimal performance for Oracle Applications, including JD Edwards, PeopleSoft, Siebel and Hyperion product lines. No other support organization can match Oracle's breadth and depth of technical expertise, advanced support technologies, or global reach.

Effective June 9, 2008, the initial point of contact for Hyperion product support is through the Oracle Global Customer Support (GCS) online support portal, OracleMetaLink 3, and no longer through the Hyperion e-Support portal.

Supported customers and partners can access our extensive technical knowledgebase of alerts, FAQs, technical notes, best practices and solutions. Additionally, designated contacts can submit, update, and view service requests. They can also track their change requests.

Oracle Protects Hyperion Customer Investments with Lifetime Support
Furthering our commitment to Hyperion customers, Oracle is proud to announce defined support timeframes for Hyperion products and releases and the application of the Lifetime Support Policy to a number of Hyperion products and releases. Refer to the Lifetime Support brochure for specific release information.

    MetaLink 3 will replace the Hyperion Download Center for patch delivery on June 29, 2008
    Over the next few weeks Hyperion patches will be migrated to MetaLink 3. Please note that during this period existing patches will continue to be available on the Hyperion Download Center, however, new patches will be made available through MetaLink 3. The Hyperion Download Center will be decommissioned on June 29, 2008. After this time, the "Patches and Downloads" section of MetaLink 3 will be used to search for and download Service Fixes (patches), providing a convenient self-service option for obtaining patches. In most cases you will not need additional entitlement to download patches; if you can enter SRs you can also download patches in MetaLink 3.
