Oracle Insurance Insight is a comprehensive, insurance-specific data warehousing product that allows property and casualty insurers to aggregate policy, claim, and customer data to gain a single view of the customer and the enterprise. Oracle Insurance Insight leverages Oracle Insurance Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition technology to create a complete, insurance-specific, warehouse-to-analytics application.

Oracle Insurance Insight's pre-built, insurance-specific, and operational-specific data marts allow carriers to aggregate insurance data out of the box. More than 120 insurance-specific metrics speed warehouse development and can help improve operational efficiency.

Oracle Insurance Insight allows carriers to gain a single view of the insured across lines of business, versus multiple, disparate reports. This provides carriers with data to determine cross-selling and up-selling opportunities. Cross-functional calculations allow carriers to analyze policy and claims data together and also measure performance across departments and lines of business at LOB-attribute granularity.

Oracle Insurance Insight consists of four distinct tiers:

• Staging templates — Line-specific table structures that facilitate simple ETL from source to warehouse; the templates accept between 400-600 transaction attributes per line
• Insurance-specific data warehouse — Relational model comprised of policy and claims transactions along with line-specific attributes
• Line-specific and operational data marts — Each line supported offers a monthly snapshot data mart, providing both policy/claim metrics and counts
• Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBI EE) application layer — All data mart structures are pre-mapped into the OBI EE repository/metadata layer and pre-built role-based reports are included for actuary, underwriting, executive, claims, and production
