Q:What Oracle product do you find to be the most innovative?
A:Oracle Enterprise Manager's database control tool, an automatically installed tool that provides a Web-based interface for database management, is the most innovative tool I have worked on. It allows database administrators to have full control of the database via a browser, and frees them from having to remember any syntax. Through automated onscreen helpers or procedures called advisors, database administrators are guided through the steps they must execute for a particular activity. Advisor Central, the home page for the advisors, provides analysis of and recommendations for almost all of the performance issues in the database. Previously, database administrators needed their own scripts for finding problems in the database. The invention of this tool has given database administrators a common platform, and they no longer have to remember the scripts to identify issues in the database. The proactive approach taken by Oracle Enterprise Manager saves a lot of time and effort, and the database administrator can concentrate on the design decisions that will enhance the performance of the database.

A:Innovation is a dream that helps a person reach the pinnacle of creativity. Innovation is like an add-on to our existing knowledge that helps mankind reach new frontiers. The object of innovation should be something that is appealing to large numbers of people and useful in making life simple and fast. Innovation is important because it gives a sense of accomplishment and it brings constant change for betterment. It is important because it's the future.
Q:What do you think is the key attribute of an innovative person?
A:Innovative people have an interest in constantly learning and applying that knowledge to make things simpler for others.
Q:Who in world history do you think of as the most innovative?
A:The Indian mathematician Aryabhata, because of his ideas on the concept of zero.
