Terms and Conditions

Government Rate

The Government Rate is open to bona fide employees of a national/federal, state, provincial, or local government entity, including public higher education institutions. All Government employees (U.S., Canada, and International) registering under the Government Rate will be required to show their employer-issued government ID or other proof of government employment during check-in at Moscone Center. Oracle may, at its sole discretion, charge the Oracle OpenWorld conference amount to anyone not satisfying these requirements.

All attendees must be registered from the same company and all four (4) packages must be paid in full to qualify for the one (1) free registration. This discount cannot be combined with any other discounts/offers.

Cancellations

  • Full Refund: Cancellations must be received by 5:00 p.m. (Pacific time) on August 10, 2012.
  • 50% Refund: Cancellations must be received between August 11 and 5:00 p.m. (Pacific time) August 31, 2012.
  • No refunds will be given for cancellations received after 5:00 p.m. (Pacific time) on August 31, 2012.

All cancellations must be received in writing. E-mail your cancellation notice to JavaOneReg@gpj.com.

Refund policy does not apply to packages with no registration fees. Cancellation of travel reservations and hotel reservations is the exclusive responsibility of the registrant. Please note that if your visa application is denied and you choose to cancel your JavaOne registration, you will still need to adhere to the Cancellation Policy deadlines listed above.

Registration Add-On packages are fully refundable; however, the following conditions apply:

  • Refunds will be given for Add-On packages for only attendees who follow the above Terms and Conditions and whose registration is canceled prior to the above dates.
  • Refunds will not be given for attendees who do not pick up their badge credentials onsite.
  • Refunds will not be given if the Add-On package has been opened or accessed.
  • Refunds will not be given for the "conference materials" Add-On if those materials are picked up onsite.

Substitutions

Substitutions must be requested in writing to the Oracle OpenWorld Registration Office at JavaOneReg@gpj.com with the names of both the original and substitute registrant. All requests for substitutions must be received no later than 5:00 p.m. (Pacific time) on September 28, 2012. Onsite substitutions will incur a $100 processing fee.

Visa Invitation Letter

If you require a Visa invitation letter find out Required Information needed

Within the registration process, you will be asked if you require a letter of invitation. Select “Yes” and be prepared to provide your passport and embassy information. Once your registration is completed, Visa letters will be processed as soon as the registration is paid in full and all of the required information has been received.
