Oracle OpenWorld and JavaOne 2011 Carbon Offset Program ($10)

This is available for all registered attendees.

For attendees who want to help Oracle help the planet. This packages reduces 2000 lbs of greenhouse gas emissions, enough to balance 1 long haul flight and 3 hotel nights. Funds collected from this add-on purchase will go toward TerraPass carbon-offset programs.

Cancellation and Substitution Information

Cancellations

  • Full Refund: Cancellations must be received by 5:00 p.m. (Pacific time) on August 12, 2011.
  • 50% Refund: Cancellations must be received between August 13 and 5:00 p.m. (Pacific time) September 2, 2011.
  • No refunds will be given for cancellations received after 5:00 p.m. (Pacific time) on September 2, 2011.

All cancellations must be received in writing. E-mail your cancellation notice to JavaOneReg@gpj.com.

Refund policy does not apply to packages with no registration fees. Cancellation of travel reservations and hotel reservations is the exclusive responsibility of the registrant.

Registration Add-On packages are fully refundable; however, the following conditions apply:

  1. Refunds will be given for Add-On packages for only attendees who follow the above Terms and Conditions and whose registration is canceled prior to the above dates.
  2. Refunds will not be given for attendees who do not pick up their badge credentials onsite.
  3. Refunds will not be given if the Add-On package has been opened or accessed.
  4. Refunds will not be given for the "conference materials" Add-On if those materials are picked up onsite.

Substitutions

Substitutions must be requested in writing to the Oracle OpenWorld Registration Office at JavaOneReg@gpj.com with the names of both the original and substitute registrant. All requests for substitutions must be received no later than 5:00 p.m. (Pacific time) on September 30, 2011. Onsite substitutions will incur a $100 processing fee.
