Michael Hichwa is vice president of Software Development, Server Technologies for Oracle Corporation. He is responsible for Application Express, SQL Developer, Migration tools, and tools for Visual Studio .NET, and other data access technologies. He manages the application development focus area which includes SQL and PL/SQL. In addition to development responsibilites Mike also manages development of the Oracle store and other internal systems. Mike joined Oracle in 1988, working with a number of groups including database support, sales consulting, consulting, internal IT, and most recently development. Most recently Mike is leading the development of the Oracle database cloud and the cloud.oracle.com cloud user interface.
