With thousands of conference attendees in San Francisco it can be challenging to find a great place to eat. Oracle has made arrangements with OpenTable to bring you a website that lists more than a 1000 San Francisco-area restaurants at which you can make reservations. Of course, the sooner you make your reservations, the better your chance of getting what you want during this super-charged week in the city.

Sustainable Airport Transportation
Oracle highly recommends taking public transportation to reduce your conference carbon footprint and help Oracle achieve its sustainability Green Meeting goals for JavaOne. You can help by taking BART's direct service from San Francisco International Airport (SFO) or Oakland International Airport (OAK). A round trip (RT) BART airport transfer reduces the conference’s carbon footprint by 20.4 pounds per passenger.
To support these sustainability efforts, BART has set up a booking site where conference attendees can purchase SFO to downtown San Francisco transfers. BART has also added a new multi-trip ticket for use by attendees staying in San Francisco-area hotels and using conference shuttles from their hotels to the BART Millbrae station. Please use this site to buy airport transfers and to include your trip information in the conference’s carbon reduction metrics.
BART/SFO San Francisco Transfers
BART is a quick, easy, and inexpensive way to get to and from SFO to downtown San Francisco. BART trains depart every 15 to 20 minutes from the SFO International Terminal to four downtown San Francisco BART stations. These stations are within easy walking distance or only a short, low-cost taxi ride to your conference hotel. The BART RT transfer costs substantially less than an airport shuttle ($32) or taxi ($50). Plus, you can buy it now through the link below and avoid waiting in line to buy a ticket at the SFO station. Simply purchase the voucher, print it, take it with you, and exchange it at SFO for your BART ticket. To purchase your BART SFO transfer, click here.
SFO-Area Hotels/Millbrae to San Francisco Multi-Ride Ticket
|Ticket Type||Your Price|
This ticket is for attendees staying in SFO-area hotels. Take the Oracle shuttle bus from your hotel to Millbrae to ride BART to the conference. Your BART ticket is good for three round-trip rides from the Millbrae station to San Francisco or six one-way rides. This voucher should be redeemed for your BART ticket when you arrive at SFO, before going to your hotel. Instructions for redeeming the voucher are included on the voucher. The voucher can be redeemed only at SFO. To purchase your BART Millbrae Multiride ticket, click here.
Attendees arriving at OAK and wishing to take BART to San Francisco should proceed to the AirBART shuttle stop on the traffic island and take the AirBART bus to the Coliseum/Oakland Airport BART station. Deposit $3.00 in the AirBART fare box when you board. If you don’t have a BART ticket, you can purchase a round-trip ticket at the Coliseum/Oakland Airport BART station for $7.70. Proceed upstairs and take a San Francisco- or Daly City-bound train. The trip from OAK to San Francisco generally takes 45 minutes via the AirBART shuttle and BART. Advanced purchase is not available for OAK arrivals.
