New, Enhanced Integrations Connect Oracle BI, Hyperion Essbase, and E-Business Suite
While competitors struggle to reduce the cost and complexity of their business intelligence offerings, Oracle is already delivering new, enhanced integrations across its Oracle Business Intelligence (BI) Applications, E-Business Suite R12, Hyperion Essbase, and Business Intelligence Suite Enterprise Edition Plus offerings.
"By expanding the hot-pluggable capabilities of Oracle BI software, we help our customers reduce integration costs and complexity while gaining greater BI capabilities," says Paul Rodwick, vice president of product management, Oracle Business Intelligence.
"As a result, they can generate greater value from their existing Oracle and non-Oracle ERP and CRM systems," adds Rodwick.
New Integrations, ‘Hot-Pluggability’
Oracle BI Applications now offer new support for the Oracle E-Business Suite R12, including both prebuilt content and adapters for Oracle Financials, Oracle Human Capital Management, Oracle Order Management, Oracle Order Fulfillment, and Oracle Supply Chain modules. Oracle BI Applications already support previous releases of the Oracle E-Business Suite.
Built on Oracle Business Intelligence Suite Enterprise Edition Plus (Oracle BI Suite EE Plus), Oracle BI Applications also take advantage of the platform's hot-pluggable capabilities to leverage a wide range of data sources, including the Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle's PeopleSoft Enterprise, Oracle's Siebel CRM, and SAP applications.
Integrating with Hyperion Essbase
In addition, Oracle's BI foundation integrates Hyperion Essbase and Oracle BI Suite EE Plus to provide a unified, enterprise BI solution for query, reporting, analysis, and modeling capabilities.
Now, Hyperion Essbase can leverage the hot-pluggable and advanced query capabilities of Oracle BI Suite EE Plus to access heterogeneous data sources for modeling what-if business scenarios and forecasts. In addition, Oracle BI Suite EE Plus provides native support for Hyperion Essbase as an optimized data source.
The result: Hyperion Essbase customers can leverage the Oracle BI Suite EE Plus enterprise information model to achieve pervasive deployment and delivery of Hyperion Essbase information across the enterprise.
