Oracle’s AutoVue Release 19.3 Optimizes Document Collaboration

For organizations that need to continually improve global collaboration, Oracle has released Oracle’s AutoVue Enterprise Visualization 19.3. Oracle Universal Content Management (UCM) users can take advantage of this new release to extend the reach of business and technical information to a broader set of enterprise users, improving information flow throughout the organization and enabling informed decision-making.

Release 19.3 offers a new streamlined and action-oriented user interface, making it easier for technical and nontechnical users alike to view, review, and collaborate on documents stored in Oracle UCM, and without requiring costly authoring applications. AutoVue 19.3 also includes new capabilities that allow for offline collaboration and improved workflow automation.

In a recent research perspective, Bob Parker, vice president of research at IDC Manufacturing Insights wrote, “With release 19.3, Oracle has focused on addressing the needs of casual enterprise users, as well as those in the distributed supply chain. With new capabilities for off-line collaboration and process automation, AutoVue extends the utilization of technical and business documents to a greater population of users for improved collaboration.”

AutoVue solutions deliver native document viewing, digital annotation, and real-time collaboration capabilities for hundreds of document types, including 2D/3D computer-aided design (CAD), EDA, graphics, and Microsoft Office documents. All products can be fully integrated with Oracle Universal Content Management.
