Key New Features Make Oracle Content Management Most Usable, Hot-Pluggable

A number of updated content management releases provide significant new features. Customers can download these features now through the Oracle Technology Network. The new features include

  • BPEL integration with content management workflows to pass and receive items to and from BPEL processes, enabling applications to integrate document processes
  • Integration with Oracle Secure Enterprise Search, which enables Oracle Universal Content Management to be searched by SES and facilitates searching of enterprise repositories and applications from Oracle Universal Content Management
  • A new Web content management editor, which provides enhanced accessibility, with W3C levels 1 and 2 support, broader platform and browser support, and an improved editing experience
  • A forms editor, which enables users with minimal technical knowledge to create and distribute forms
  • Folios, which enable bundling and rendering of multiple documents for distribution, retention control, and workflow

These latest releases are the culmination of the content management road map laid out by Oracle a year ago with the Stellent acquisition, enhancing the leadership position of Oracle Content Management as the most usable and hot-pluggable content management products
