AIIM Conference: Oracle's Strategy Generates Buzz

At this year's AIIM Conference & Expo, held in Boston April 16–19, Oracle drew large crowds as it unveiled its roadmap and strategy for the industry's most comprehensive and unified content management product portfolio.

One of the most important content management events of the year, the conference, sponsored by AIIM — The Enterprise Content Management Association, attracted more than 10,000 senior-level business and IT professionals.

Oracle, a silver sponsor of the event, provided live demos of its recently acquired Stellent technology. Oracle also held live seminars covering everything from secure enterprise search and multiple Web site management to Oracle's overall strategy in the wake of its 2006 acquisition of ECM leader Stellent.

Two Oracle content management leaders delivered special presentations, including "Digital Rights Management for Content" by Andy MacMillan, vice president, product management, and "Enabling Business Applications through a Content Database" by Rich Buchheim, senior director, product management.
