Free Downloads: CRM Gadgets for Sales Make Social CRM Even Better
Now available as free downloads, Oracle CRM Gadgets for Sales boost sales force productivity by integrating enterprise CRM content with late-breaking business data from both phone contacts and the Web. Building on the momentum of Oracle's Social CRM initiative, the mini-applications provide rapid access to critical business information without the need to launch a browser, log in, or navigate through a series of screens.

Oracle CRM Gadgets for Sales provide secure access to enterprise data when disconnected from the network. And once a network presence is detected, user data is updated automatically.

"Oracle is, once again, pushing the boundaries of Social CRM innovation, giving our customers an unparalleled addition to their CRM and sales arsenal," says Anthony Lye, Oracle senior vice president of CRM.

Available as free downloads, Oracle CRM Gadgets for Sales are based on open industry standards and ready for use on virtually any desktop operating system or Web browser.

They are compatible with all versions of Oracle’s Siebel CRM (7.7 and above) and Oracle CRM On Demand.

Individual gadgets include

  • My Contacts Gadget. Enable users to click-to-e-mail and click-to-call contacts from within Siebel CRM or Oracle CRM On Demand applications and search contacts across multiple internet bases and social networking sites.
  • Top Accounts Gadget. Keep sales reps informed of public events and information impacting top customers with mash-ups that include both key data from the enterprise CRM system as well as relevant internet-based content such as stock quotes and RSS feeds.
  • Top Deals Gadget. Give reps real-time insight into the status of sales opportunities scheduled to close in the current reporting period, enabling them to easily monitor deal flow directly from their desktop.
  • Search Gadget. Provide users with a desktop-based search tool to quickly locate content against the entire CRM database or specific subcollections of data. Available only for Siebel CRM.
  • Oracle Sales Quota Gadget. Give users real-time information about current quarter sales pipeline, including targets and quotas achieved to date. Available only for Siebel CRM.
