Close Deals Faster with New Oracle Mobile Sales Assistant
Announced in March and designed specifically for mobile devices, Oracle Mobile Sales Assistant enables sales professionals to collaborate more easily with colleagues and customers—and complete common, repetitive tasks more rapidly—so they can close deals more quickly from the road.
The new application includes a feature called Today's List, which gives single-click access to the day's schedule, contacts, and tasks, including integrated personal information manager (PIM) data and customer information stored within Oracle CRM On Demand.
From their Today's List, sales representatives can initiate a call, e-mail, or text message with customers or team members—and even retrieve driving directions.
And at the end of a conversation, automated prompts remind reps to schedule follow-ups and enter notes. This means vital information is either stored locally or saved in real time to the CRM system.
Just as important, sales reps can instantly retrieve relevant lead and opportunity information right at the point of customer contact, so they can shorten sales cycles and close deals from the road.
Even when network coverage is interrupted, one-click access to recent and frequently viewed items, together with store-and-forward capabilities, keeps reps productive.
Oracle Mobile Sales Assistant also enables salespeople to easily share contact and lead information with other team members, and even schedule calls and meetings—all with a few clicks. No need to scroll through lengthy lists of names.
"Oracle Mobile Sales Assistant provides immediate access to information—any time, anywhere," explains Steve Diamond, senior director, Oracle CRM On Demand product marketing. "This removes barriers to productivity, generates user enthusiasm, and enables salespeople both to increase sales and to provide greater customer satisfaction."
