Oracle CRM On Demand Usability Drives CRM Success
User adoption is critical to CRM success. And usability—how easily and quickly a CRM application can help users complete everyday tasks—is key to user acceptance. Oracle CRM On Demand, Oracle’s software-as-a-service (SaaS) CRM offering, features subscription-based pricing and is easy to deploy. It’s also been designed to ensure ease of use.

"Sales professionals are the toughest critics of CRM. Time is precious, and if an application doesn’t help salespeople sell more efficiently or effectively, they won’t use it," says Ken Pulverman, senior director of Oracle CRM product marketing. "The downside is the loss of vital customer information."

Delivering Information at Your Fingertips
To ensure easy access to key data, the Oracle CRM On Demand Message Center, favorite lists, and analytic reports can be displayed within the application and as widgets on the desktop or portal. Interactive analytics dashboards and prebuilt reports provide actionable insight, and sales users can drill down into real-time intelligence in one click. And, with prebuilt integrations to other key enterprise applications such as Siebel CRM, Oracle E-Business Suite, and JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, users can access the information they need wherever it is stored in the front or back office.

Improving Sales Productivity
The Oracle CRM On Demand Sales Process Coach fosters high user adoption and improved sales effectiveness by providing a workflow-driven set of tools to guide a sales representative through specific activities for each sales stage.

Other features, such as inline editing and record preview, enable users to quickly enter and look up information without needing to type the full entry or navigate to another record. Related offerings, such as Oracle Mobile Sales Assistant, streamline everyday activities with after-call prompts for follow-up activities and integrated driving directions when viewing customer contacts.
