“Sustainability reporting is like any style of external reporting," writes Frank Buytendijk, vice president of Oracle EPM, in a recent blog post. “Whatever you report externally should be reliable, complete, correct, auditable, traceable and all other qualities you would expect from an external report, even if there is no legal obligation. Sustainability reporting is all about trust, and reporting through a spreadsheet or any other informal system is simply not good enough.”
