Next month’s Oracle OpenWorld 2009 in San Francisco will include special previews of the upcoming release of Oracle’s PeopleSoft Enterprise Financial Management 9.1 Solutions.
PeopleSoft Enterprise 9.1 is expected to address three key business challenges: increasing productivity, improving business performance, and reducing costs. In addition, planned Financial Management Solutions enhancements will help finance managers support business growth while increasing the organization’s regulatory compliance and oversight capabilities, says John Webb, Oracle vice president of PeopleSoft Enterprise product strategy.
“The focus of Financial Management Solutions in Release 9.1 is to streamline and automate critical tasks, such as the period end close, and to automate activity monitoring for greater visibility into cash assets and their allocations,” he adds.
